Selene is a speculative conversational UX project that reimagines the voice assistant as an ambient, mystical experience. Taking the physical form of a crystal ball, Selene invites users into reflective, emotionally intelligent interactions rooted in the language and symbolism of fortune-telling.

The assistant offers mood-based affirmations, metaphorical predictions, and introspective prompts—balancing poetic ambiguity with user-centered guidance. The dialogue system was prototyped in Voiceflow, emphasizing distinct interaction states (listening, divining, revealing) and voice tone calibration.

The project explores how physical form, narrative framing, and conversation design can converge to create interfaces that foster emotional resonance rather than transactional utility.
